Join us for a comprehensive journey through the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, one of the most important classical texts in the Hatha Yoga tradition. Guided by Vedic scholar Dr. Vigneshwar Bhat, this course brings forward the depth of traditional yogic knowledge with clarity, precision, and heartfelt integrity.
Rooted in ancient wisdom and made relevant for modern-day practitioners, this study will unfold each chapter of the Hatha Yoga Pradipika over four focused sections. Students will explore key Sanskrit verses, their deeper meanings, and how to apply these timeless teachings in daily life and practice.
Part I: Chapter One – Foundation & Asana (8 classes)
Discover the foundational principles of the yogic path—discipline, environment, teacher-student relationship, and lifestyle. This chapter introduces 15 classical asanas, preparing the body and mind for deeper inner work.
Part II: Chapter Two – Shatkarma & Pranayama (8 classes)
Explore the cleansing techniques (shatkarmas) essential for clearing the nadis (energy channels), followed by traditional pranayama practices to regulate prana and stabilize the inner system.
