Yoga Yagna, India 2026
9 Day Retreat
Dr. Vigneshwar Bhat & Tara Mitra
Join me, Tara Mitra & Dr Vigneshwar Bhat, for this unique opportunity to practice in two sacred landscapes in India, Haridwar & Yellapur
Begin your journey in Haridwar, where the sacred Ganga flows from the Himalayas, setting the foundation for deep practice and renewal. For two days, we will immerse ourselves in this sacred space - moving, breathing, and practicing on the rivers edge. Experience the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, a fire offering to the river that brings a sense of connection and presence.
From there, we travel to the serene Western Ghats of Karnataka where nature and stillness create a perfect setting for this spiritual immersion. Our days will begin with morning Practices: Japa, Pranayama and Mysore-style classes, Vedic chanting, delicious home-cooked cooking sattvic meals. We will explore several concepts on Spirituality in an Open Conversation, visit sites and experience the traditional teachings of a Gurukul.
