the Mentorship Program
immerse yourself in tradition & holistic knowledge
New batch starting January 6 2026
For Dedicated Students and Yoga Teachers
This program offers more than just knowledge—it’s an immersive experience designed to help you become a confident, knowledgeable, and skilled yoga teacher who embodies yoga beyond physical practice.
The TMY Mentorship Program is a uniquely immersive, lineage-based exploration designed to refine your yoga practice and teaching over four years. Unlike modern yoga programs, we honour yoga as a holistic system—integrating Pranayama, Authenticity, Sanskrit Basics, Chanting, and Yoga Therapy into a deeply meaningful learning journey.
You will learn directly from 4 expert teachers, each a leader in their field, with over 80 years of combined experience in Ashtanga yoga, Anatomy & Chiropractic, Vedic Philosophy, Ayurveda and Antaranga Yoga. This is a true lineage-based mentorship, bridging traditional wisdom with modern application and providing the knowledge and skills needed to become a confident, authentic yoga teacher.
A Flexible, In-Depth Training Rooted in Tradition
The mentorship program offers a structured path for dedicated practitioners and teachers seeking a deeper understanding of yoga. Designed as a five-year, 500-hour journey, it provides ongoing guidance. Each year’s theme helps to enliven the understanding of oneself, what it means to be a teacher and to share information authentically, keeping the true essence of yoga.
Students may choose to:
- Join for the first quarter to explore the program
- Enrol for an entire year to engage in a progressive curriculum (most recommended)
- Be a part of the complete five-year path for a comprehensive experience
- Attend in-person 1-month immersions for hands-on learning
Those committing to a full year or the entire program are given priority as spaces are limited.
This is an opportunity to grow within a supportive, experienced community while honoring the depth of yoga’s teachings.
While the mentorship is a five-year commitment, the Roots in Wisdom Immersions (100-hour in-person summer courses) are available separately for all students. Mentorship students are encouraged to attend each year’s immersion to complete their studies together.

What Students Say
The Yoga Teacher Mentorship with Tara, transformed my teaching and life. Tara’s deep experience and dedication to traditional yoga inspired me to reevaluate my practice, teaching, and lifestyle. At the time, I was overworking, exhausted, and disconnected from my own practice. With Tara’s guidance, I changed my habits, prioritized self- care, and learned to see and teach each student individually. Beyond the knowledge, Tara provided emotional support, helping me navigate the challenges of being a yoga teacher. I’m so grateful for her wisdom and excited to continue this journey!

Tara’s expertise in Ayurveda and yoga therapy has significantly changed my body and my life. I began yoga therapy and an Ayurvedic consultation with her in December, hoping to adapt my practice and food habits to address endometriosis pain, frequent colds, bronchitis, and anxiety. With simple yet effective techniques, I stayed illness-free all winter. My energy remained high and stable, even while caring for sick people. A consistent sleep schedule, kashayam, homemade food, and a personalized yoga and pranayama practice helped stabilize my energy and mind, honoring my body’s uniqueness. I’m truly grateful for Tara’s mentorship. As a woman and yoga teacher, I highly recommend exploring Ayurveda with her—it’s essential for true well-being.
