11.00am - 12.30pm (London), February 2, 6, 9, 13, 2026
Course Description
Connect with the divine energies of Śiva and Śakti by mastering ancient mantras that have been chanted for centuries, while understanding the spiritual power behind each mantra. Balancing these masculine and feminine energies helps cultivate emotional equilibrium and clarity. This course offers an immersive experience of the ancient teachings of Tantra and yoga, focusing on the two fundamental forces of the universe - Śiva and Śakti - while exploring their significance and experiencing their union on a deeply personal level.
Śiva and Śakti represent two primal forces in the universe, central to tantric philosophy. Śiva embodies masculine, stable energy—symbolizing stillness and consciousness—while Śakti is dynamic, feminine energy, representing movement and creation. These inseparable forces symbolize the balance of opposites—stillness and activity, potential and manifestation. In this course, you'll explore these energies through authentic ancient chants such as the Śivamānasa Pōjā, honoring Lord Śiva’s cosmic presence; the Lingāshtakam, glorifying Śiva’s eternal nature; the Tāntriktadēvīsūktam, a tantric hymn devoted to Śakti, the divine feminine; and the Mahālakshmi Ashtakam, invoking Mahalakshmi, the goddess of abundance and prosperity, representing Śakti’s creative power.
