3-Day Yogic Immersion in Katowice, Poland

Join Tara Mitra in Katowice for a grounded, breath-centered weekend of Mysore-style practice, chanting, prāṇāyāma, and inner exploration through the eight limbs of yoga. A space for sincere students and teachers to deepen their connection to yoga as discipline, relationship, and inner freedom.

This 3-day immersion is rooted in the traditional teachings of Śrī Krishnamacharya, offering personalized Ashtanga Mysore practice, morning prāṇāyāma, Vedic chanting, and guided study of the eight limbs as they apply to real life—not just the mat.

Designed for dedicated students and teachers, this workshop supports the refinement of āsana, the anchoring of attention, and the cultivation of inner steadiness. Together, we’ll explore the yogic understanding of mind, discipline, and daily choices that shape how we live.

Tara brings more than two decades of teaching and therapeutic experience to support a safe, intelligent, and subtle approach to yoga. With clarity, warmth, and śāstric depth, she invites you to go beyond performance—into presence.

Friday, March 6

6:00–8:00 p.m.

Workshop I – The Eight Limbs in Daily Life

  • Introduction to the path of aṣṭāṅga yoga
  • Yamas, niyamas, and inner disciplines applied to real life
  • Group reflection: “Where does my practice live?”

Saturday, March 7

7:00–8:00 a.m.

Morning Prāṇāyāma & Chanting

  • Foundational breath practices and Vedic mantra
  • Gentle guidance into stillness and subtle attention

8:00–10:00 a.m.

Mysore-Style Ashtanga Practice

  • Breath-led, individualized instruction with optional hands-on support
  • Modifications and rhythm-based adjustments

11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Workshop II – The Sound of the Self: Introduction to Chanting

  • Core techniques of Vedic chanting
  • Practice in tone, pitch, listening, and memory
  • Sound as a bridge to internal orientation

3:30–5:30 p.m.

Workshop III – Understanding the Mind in Yoga

  • Yoga Sūtra insights on thought, perception, and emotional clarity
  • Practice: inquiry, dhāraṇā objects, and subtle awareness tools

Sunday, March 8

Prāṇāyāma, Chant Review & Meditation

  • Optional gentle kumbhaka and silent mantra
  • Seated practice as a foundation for daily steadiness

8:00–10:00 a.m.

Mysore-Style Practice

  • Final Mysore session with silent close and reflection prompt

Workshop IV – Chai & Chat: Open Q&A and Closing Circle
