Chanting Foundations for Yoga Teachers
A 6-week live course in the sound, structure, and subtle transmission of yoga
OCT 6 - NOV 10, 2025
(Mondays at 1:30pm London/ 2:30pm Paris)
This course offers a steady foundation in Saṃskṛtam chanting for yoga teachers who seek to teach with clarity, presence, and respect for tradition.
Starting from the basics such as sound formation, counting, and chanting, you’ll learn posture names, read transliteration, and tune your ear to the depth of what you teach.
Grounded in Śrī Krishnamacharya’s lineage, we explore chanting from the Vedas to the Yoga Sūtra and into today’s classroom.
Weekly live sessions with Tara Mitra offer pronunciation guidance and support. With steadiness, care, and clarity, this course keeps your teaching aligned with the true purpose of yoga.
